Registration for our 2024 season is now open and it won’t be long before we’re cycling the roads of Haliburton County! Although the ground is still snow covered, and school buses were cancelled today due to flash freezing and strong winds that caused widespread power outages, I’m hopeful that spring will bring us beautiful weather for cycling.
We’ll be kicking off the season with our Let’s Get Rolling Social on Sunday April 28th at 1:00 p.m. at the Stanhope Firefighters Community Hall. Come join us for some baked goods, coffee/tea and learn about the fun rides, trips and events we have planned. Order a club jersey, purchase a Haliburton Real Easy Ryders ceramic mug and meet fellow cyclists. There will be plenty of great door prizes too!
Our first ride of the season is set for Tuesday April 30th from the Stanhope Firefighters Community Hall. This start location offers plenty of scenic, quiet roads with route options to suit all riders. It also offers plenty of flat roads so we can ease into the season and get comfortable in the saddle.
